Records from the City of Philadelphia, published in readable form as they change, with every figure linked to its source.
This site takes records that the City of Philadelphia already publishes — inspections, violations, filings, incidents — and turns them into something you can actually use: what was recorded, where, when, and what changed since last time.
Every figure is drawn from a primary source and linked back to it. If a number here cannot be traced to a city record, it does not belong on the page.
What is coming first
The first working dataset is being assembled now. It will cover one narrow slice of the city rather than everything, updated as the underlying records update. Until that publishes, there is nothing here worth your time, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise.
Sourcing and corrections
Records carry the city's own dates and identifiers. Where I summarise or calculate anything — counts, changes, rankings — the page says so and shows the working.
If something here is wrong, write to hello@phillylate.st with the address or record number. Corrections are made in the record, not quietly deleted.
